A nice finish to the story, tho I feel the author cheated somewhat with the reflection passages. I liked the ending, but I wish the world was explored more. This feels like a story that could have been told in 2 books, or the author simply wanted to be done. Nevertheless, did enjoy.

Had some nice moments though to be honest, after the first book I did not really enjoy the turn the story took. While the fights were excellent, the main death of the book was just like really to me and how it affected Cego just did not make sense to me. Overall, while the Daimyo and Griever conflict ending was above my expectations as my expectations were much less, still much of the last two books and the plot points did not make much sense to me. The two parts in this book were very disjointed and did not lend themselves well to be the climax especially Part 2. The character of Silas and the difference of his portrayal in this book and the previous book also confused me and maybe I might have read it wrong in the previous book. Also, while the final fight sequence was great, the conclusion just happened. Also, a minor critique but in the last few moments there were some very corny moments (against their purpose, they did brought me to laugh). A bit sad to see this series end this way as the fights were great, the first book was excellent, the world had potential and props to the author, all 3 books were very addicting to read.

I’m actually upset. The first 2 books in this series had so much buildup and I feel let down. I think this book could have done with a quick recap of the first 2 books at the beginning.
This is one of those stories where I would LOVE a map.
With how much we get Cego and Sol POVs, I feel like I didn’t get to know them any better this book, or why they did what they did. Some of the plot twists felt like they came out of nowhere with no prior foreshadowing or buildup. There were multiple setting jumps and so much happened with little explanation.
The fight scenes were great, as always, but that can only take a story so far. I hate giving this 2/5 stars because I was expecting so much more.
