I read JD Robb mysteries for the futurism, gritty, what-might-the-world-look-like-in-40-years escapism I’ve come to expect. There’s also the witty banter, the familiar cast of characters, the usual setup, etc. etc. etc. However… did I just read the same book as the last one she wrote? Nora Roberts cannot possibly be running out of ideas or forgetting to send her books to an editor. Amirite? Or, am I wrong? Help…

Honestly ive been reading this series since the very beginning and i continue to love them. This one especially shows how far lt dallas has come, the surrounding characters, and the whole future nyc world. I love it. The crime in this one broke my heart but it was done so well to give power to those hurt. On to the next in the series! Cant get enough!

Classic Dallas. Again, not just the murder but a conspiracy. But it was good as usual. Nothing crazy twisty, but classic kicking ass and taking down the bad guys while rescuing a ton of kids. I like that there was less side stuff, which kept the plot chugging along nicely, but we still got the check in with all our main side cast, which keeps growing.

Looking forward to #56
