so many pretentious conversations for my brain to feast on! this book was acutely aware of its pompousness in such an entertaining way. the caricature-like cast, the dam of mona’s trauma suppression breaking, the climactic ending!! delicious!!

great writing style but boring content and the random violence she encounters doesnt really add up to anything. couldn't decide if i liked the ending or not, but it was the most exciting part of the book
