Almost 4/5 stars, I’m choosing to round up.

Beautifully complex with rich layers and dialog. I wish there was one more chapter, but I understand why she finished it when she did.

I wish we could’ve heard a portion of Mona’s presentation and the other author’s reactions to it. I did really enjoy all the rich characters and their different perspectives.

This is def a book for girlies who like surrealist literature.

twas chewy. i felt out of the loop quite often and i assumed that was a personal issue and i just wasn’t smart enough to understand it, but after reading other reviews it seems like a common sentiment. i don’t consider myself an advanced enough reader or an educated enough critic to label this book as bad or good. i think i should revisit it in a few years to re-read it with a better understanding of what i’m getting into to better appreciate the writing.
