me he pasado el libro diciendo “qué lista la tía, qué lista” y es que es eso. sus agudos diagnósticos del panorama literario actual me han hecho reír (y sonrojar al saberme a veces uno de esos insoportables personajes pretenciosos), aunque el final me ha dejado un poco desconcertada.

An engaging and somewhat wild/surreal exploration of the literary world through the experience of Mona, a woman who makes (more) sense by the end. 

Finished within 24 hours and truly do not know if I would have enjoyed the book as much in short installments.

Feel quite conflicted tbh, in part not a huge fan of the main character especially at the start (very ottessa moshfegh/eliza clark coded im not a bitch i just tell it like it is) and some of the speeches felt way too long and i didn’t care but then i really liked some of the writing and while the ending wasnt quite a 5* conclusion it was pretty good and tied up pretty well

"networking" a word Americans used to describe socializing with colleagues, as though they needed a concept to justify kindness and camaraderie at work.

Meh.
I went into this thinking the author had a lot to say in this satire but whenever she started approaching some concepts and criticisms, it remained on a surface level.
