Read this in English. A nice typical chick-lit story of lost love and missed opportunities and secrets. There were some surprising charicters and it was a nice read. Not too predictable.

Another fun read. British Chicklit is my guilty pleasure.

Coming up with solid rom-com plot lines, reasons to keep two people in the modern world apart, is getting harder and harder but Jill Mansell manages to make her characters seem plausible while maintaining that key ingredient. Another in a long line of enjoyable, contemporary romance with a village full of quirky characters. This story focused more on the core players than most of her books though.

This book was really good, I wish I could give it 5 stars but during the book I felt the author introduced way too many characters and lost sight of the actual plot. It steered back around near the end and had a great ending. I might reread it again and see what I think at a later time but for now I'm giving it 3 stars! Was still a good book and I enjoy most of it. :)

Pure escapism ... loved it. I must admit, usually it's easy to work out how these books will end but I was surprised by some of the developments.

I loved this book. It was so easy to read. It is chick lit, mind fluff, whatever you want to call it. The characters were endearing and I was sad to put them down. I highly recommend.

Even though it’s fast paced and a lot happened, I think maybe there was too much happening. A lot of it felt rushed, brushed over or not explored enough. Some of it was predictable as well. I didn’t really connect with the characters as much.
