LOVE LOVE LOVE!!! How is this not more popular! The story, the art, and the characters are all top tier. This was 800 pages and I could’ve continued reading for 800 more.

What a wonderful way to finish the year. I absolutely adored the graphic novel. A wonderful fantasy following a badass female main character and her growth and bravery in the face of literal gods, doing what’s right versus what is easy, all while trying to get home. A wonderful tale worth every moment of the read.

“DU” is a unique and very spunky fable that follows a female wombat who digs herself into an obscure but spiritual adventure where she’ll meet different creatures and learn what her destiny is. It’s a very somber story that’s well told with a cast of colorful characters that keep it so lively, and being the best of it all. An amazing yarn that you won’t stop digging in. A- (91%/Excellent)

Well, this was huge. Rambly, twisty, oddly wise and moving, rather fun, with the kind of rythm ive come to expect from Vernon.
I wasnt a fan of the illustration style at first, but i grew fond of it.
As always with this author, it's the characters that get you.
