So this was my favorite of the three books and still I'm only giving it 3 stars. I liked that this was a forbidden love between Tony and Hector kind-a-story and the fact that Wes made an appearance was great. I like that Wes won't let her dismiss his need to be in her life. That actually gave me hope for a happily-ever-after that I won't be reading anytime soon. I may pick up the other books in the series but I have no desire to do so now. This series was just an ok read for me.
love this one too. so glad Wes made an appearance but I almost cried right along with Mia when he left that note.
Oh Audrey Carlan, you just amaze me. No matter how high I set my expectations you continually exceed them. I had it all in my little head that Mia’s adventure to Chicago was going to go in a completely different direction and end up breaking my heart. See, I get attached to characters and sometimes get myself worked up over a story. With Mia in the Calendar Girl series, I’m in deep. I adore Mia and love being taken on her emotional expedition of self discovery. Thank you for the many surprises Mia encounters in the Windy City.
In March, Mia’s assignment leads her to the life of one Italian Stallion Anthony Fasano. But the story takes an entirely unpredictable path. Mia’s doesn't get wrapped up in Tony’s life so much as she gains entry into the fold, she’s quickly accepted by those closest to him including his family. The connections she builds here are laying a new foundation in her life. She’s out and out a building a posse which is a little bit of a surprise. Much like her experience in February, the idea that love and commitment have many characterizations is affirmed . Again Mia finds that love isn't neatly wrapped up in a box with conditions. In fact, I'd say that Mia is getting a good dose of what its like to love and be loved unconditionally, which is already something she knows. But who couldn't use more kindness and affection in their world?
I've already said in my review of January that the premise to the Calendar Girl series was unique and one I could get wrapped up in. With every new chapter in Mia's journey, Mia’s personality shines brighter and I really just want to see what her HEA looks like. But the Calendar Girl series is not about the “getting there” as it is so much about the “going through”, about her transformation. Already she’s gone through such a range of emotions in just a few months and I didn't think her assignment in the Chicago could mean anything but Mia being torn in two. How wrong was I? I'm not committed to how and with who I want to see Mia find at the end of her rainbow, but I do lean a certain way and it doesn't need to be said who and where that is. But we have nine more months and many more adventures. Bring on April and bean town! My friends, if you are not this series do yourself a favor and start.

The only star is because there is an m/m relationship in this. No other redeemable trait.
Esta protagonista me desespera. Es una de las protagonistas que más mal me ha caído. Ama a Wes pero aún así lo engaña. Girl please
