This book is a good book if you are looking for a quick spicy read. The romance in the book is quick and escalates quickly. I like the idea of this being a Mafia romance and single mother.

This book is more spice than plot. While I liked the storyline and spice, I wanted more about these characters. I also wanted more with their relationship.

This book does wrap up sweetly and I liked seeing what happened with the MCs.

I’m glad this book was free at least? There was no plot nor believability.

My first mafia romance and honestly wasn’t great. I won’t criticize Willow Winters that heavily as this was her first book BUT I wished she went back and reformatted the book since I couldn’t get through with it. She starts a new paragraph and dumps so much information into one before doing it again in the next paragraph it’s all mushed into one paragraph. There’s also no indents like other books which annoys me.

Besides my nitpicking, the plot seemed interesting but reading it wasn’t. Dom and Johnny (another member) acted like those guys in high school who tried to act tough in school. They cursed constantly as if their mommies now allowed them to curse, Johnny talks about women in a derogatory way, and Dom is just pussy this pussy that. It was annoying. And Becca got annoying. Also the first chapter they put you into the action which is fine until they CONSTANTLY switch the pov. One minute you’re reading Becca’s pov the next you’re reading Dom’s and I couldn’t understand what was going until they meet. Don’t start a book like that. We’re barely getting into it and I’m confused as hell.

The story had potential but it wasn’t for me. If Willow Winters reformats it and edits the hell out of it then maybe, MAYBE I’ll give the book another chance but I didn’t enjoy it. It probably won’t happen as it felt like a chore to even read it

not the good kind of trash

The sex was the plot, and even then that wasn’t that great. Everything outside the sex was just simply bad.

Note: Considering this is the authors debut book, I do wanna give their latest book a try and see if there is any development in storytelling.
