I swear most of these fairy tales start with parents throwing their child into the woods and someone always wants to eat the child. Poor Snow White. Too pretty and that's her punishment.

Seriously: Snow White is the silliest character I've ever met. How could you be so naive despite all dwarves' warnings? And MOST OF ALL : how could you consent to marry someone you knew for a second only because he tells you that he has feelings for you? Are you that narcissic? (that prince is also very dumb since he never talked to her - he was just barely looking at a dead mannequin?!)

Ew. Next.

Short. More to the story than I remembered. The 7 dwarves coming home was reminiscent of Goldilocks and the 3 bears.

It would be a little silly to write a review on the fairytale of Snow White. We all know the Fairytale and we all have our own opinions on it and how outdated it is. And it is, it is truly outdated. But it's a Fairytale! And it's still magical and I love how each word sounds like poetry. The rhymes are so beautiful and the story goes quick, but it was still such a joy to read it!

But, what really made it awesome were the illustrations! This book was almost like a graphic novel. Sometimes the illustrations simply supported the text, but sometimes the text was part of the illustrations. It gave the fairytale some extra magic and some extra atmosphere and I really enjoyed that.

While reading and while watching all those wonderful pieces of art, I was constantly smiling. I really had that feeling I used to have as a kid, when a story came to live in the most absurd way and it just made me feel all warm and fuzzy.

I can't wait to read Cinderella!
