i cried so yk what that means (automatic five stars).

i freaking loved this book to bits and piecesss!!! as soon as i started this, like ten pages in, i could already feel this was gonna be a five star read and it didn’t disappoint!!! this was soooooo stinking cute and funnnn. i loved how this was written and i felt my heartstrings getting pulled every which way. i was laughing and screaming and crying and fighting for my life and blushing and kicking my feet and everything else in between like AHHHHHHHHH— i loved this book sm!!!

the relationship dynamics between kenzi, donovan and jason were so sweet and cute and they were such adorable babiessssssss. the softness, the gentle intimacy w which they treated each other, the banter, it was all so stinking adorable and i was rooting for them so hard even when shit kept hitting the fan.

and now THEYRE ALL A FAMILY 😭😭😭😭🩷🩷🩷🩷🩷🩷🩷🩷😭😭😭🩷🩷🩷🩷🩷🩷🩷 IM SO HAPPYYYYYYYYY FOR THEM 😭😭😭🩷🩷🩷🩷🩷🩷 i loved everything ab this and it’s crazy but EYE feel on top of the world.

DNF 27% this isn’t good. Their characters feel different than the first book. And they don’t hold her accountable for anything. She goes off on J at the end of one and he just forgets it? And D covering up for her and not telling J? Nah. I’m good.

I read this last month and I just wanted to come back and write my review. I could not connect with the characters. The only reason why I decided to read the second book was because I was hoping for some Jason and Donovan action (which was great). Kenzie was dumb for not letting Jason know he was a father and Jason is kind of dumb for not knowing Otto was his son considering they looked alike and if you did the math?? Fuck Jason's parents btw! I'm surprised Kenzie's mom was as involved since she seemed like a hands off parent in the first book. The sex scenes were really well done! I love a good poly relationship, just again I felt disconnected from them. Donovan was my favorite though, I'm also just surprised that he didn't keep his "emo" fashion style haha.
