This book was a lucky find; I love Disney novels, and I LOVED the Cruella movie. It was a bit tedious to have to read through all of those scenes again, but I did enjoy each character’s unique voice and the extra scenes and lines. Overall, it was good to be transported back into that world. (And Gerald stole the show, don’t even try to deny it.)
I recommend this book to anyone who enjoyed the movie, and the world and characters it has created.

THIS is how you do a book adaptation from a film. Not everybody does it well, but this one did.
There was additional insights we didn’t get in the film, and it was beautifully written - drawing in a mix of the films tone and its own unique style together.
Audiobook was frustration as every instance of the word ‘valet’ was pronounced incorrectly but otherwise it was great.
