Undemanding read. The author really bent over backwards to avoid making either the hero or the heroine actually bad, meaning that the first chapter is virtually incomprehensible in the complexity of its set-up. There is a lot of non-communication. Overall, though, the book had to fit into the parameters of a category romance and given that, it was pretty readable.

The villains were so truly, completely villainous. No gray here. Recommend.
