I read this book not realizing that it was a DDlg age play romance. While I’m not at all into DDlg, that wasn’t the problem I had with the book. The main character was a complete child who only acted like an adult when she was doing her marine research. She was easily influenced by every one around her and had no single thought of her own. Also she was there for what all of 5 days and already she’s telling this man that she loves him? And he felt the same way?

Brody is the recluse living in the lighthouse and Naomi is the marine biologist surveying the local species in Little Rock. Neither knows they’ll be sharing the lighthouse and they initially don’t like each other. Unlike the good Christian she pretends to be, she judges Brody before having all the facts.
Brody suffered a horrible injury and is still recovering. Naomi might just be what the doctor ordered. He has her pegged as a Little relatively quick and tries to guide her a Little. It doesn’t take long before they’ve signed a contract and are navigating through the dynamic. Then her pastor father shows up and orders Naomi to come home.
Can Brody win over her judgmental father? Can Naomi be her own person and take what she wants?.

She just wanted to do a good job and maybe find herself. The way that they met was kinda funny if you think about it. She is very much a rule follower and he just wants to make it thru the day. Neither one thought that they would learn anything from the other but in the end that is what they did. I would love to see what the future holds for them.
