In this playboy series we meet Elizabeth Lyons. Elizabeth has worked hard to become very successful. After being cheated on when she was in college, Elizabeth decided man only were trouble. So she stayed clear of them, and she never doubted here decision of becoming successful instead of finding a man. But when Elizabeth meets handsome and rich Daniel Alexander she finds herself wanting to be different for once.

Daniel is rich and doesn’t really do relationships. But when he meets Elizabeth he instantly feels she is more and worth the risk. So he tries to get her to agree on a date. But Elizabeth is very stubborn, and not easily persuaded. But Daniel doesn’t give up. The fact that he lives in San Francisco and she lives in Los Angeles, is not a problem at all. He will fly to her everyday if he needs too.

Even though this book is written in three parts, it’s a short story. I read all three parts in only a view hours. And I would have been even faster if it wasn’t for my little girl walking around. This was a fun book, that I enjoyed. The romance was fun to read. I loved the fact that Daniel was so instantly smitten by Elizabeth, and really had to work hard on getting her to agree on a date.

But this book wasn’t more than fun for me. I found the three chapters / books confusing. I mean.. why not put it in one book? And the romance was fun, but not something that blew my mind. For someone who made this deal on never going out with a man again, Elizabeth was easily persuaded. I am a huge believer in love and even love at first sight, but I know for a fact that trust issues aren’t simple forgotten in a short moment. And although Elizabeth had her reservations, I found her giving in to the first date rather fast.

Overall, this book/ chapter/ read was just fun.
