wonderful! I adored the old style of language and flow if this charming vampire short story. so much action, characterization and mood was somehow within this short tale! hoping to read more in this universe. so mysterious, compelling and breath-taking!

I started reading the preview and got hooked within the first seconds by the language. This book can be downloaded for free on the author's website but I ended up buying it through Amazon. Thought it would be nice to support S.C Parris. Did not regret it.
Although it's not a novel but a short story, the plot really draws you in. I was expecting and wanted more at the end but I'm assuming the author planned a sequel. The details, backstory, characters, language and overall atmosphere will make any paranormal/historical fiction reader happy.
I really hope the author writes more about this story, it was a great and very pleasurable read. Love S.C Parris writing style.
