I liked being able to see a little piece of what the others were experiencing during the coma and I'm happy this volume gave Airi a little bit more of a story. This was a nice addition.

I didn’t expect to like this book but I did. This is a book with POVs from other characters - main protagonist’s friends (the one he tries to save, his best friend and the girl he likes in present day) and his mom. I realized how well all the characters in this series were developed since I feel for every single one of them deeply, even when the main protagonist is not there. Definitely one of my favorite series ever. I am very sad that this series ended.

This felt a bit unnecessary.  I like it, but I don't think it added much to the story.
