First off I have to say - I love it when authors make the female character nerdy, because I'm a nerd as well.. but when you go on and use the Binomial Theorem and compare it to Einsteins E = mc2 that's just wrong. I wish the Author would've used more time to recherche math and some good examples..

That being said I don't understand the negativity some people have.
For people who say NASA doesn't need math I'd recommend to watch Hidden Figures.

I enjoyed the book and would read a second one, but some things just moved too fast for me.
Spoiler I'd have liked to see more of how they changed the pack together and how they overcame the prejudice against halfblood shifters

I liked the main portion of the book but it is a very simplistic plot overall. The antagonists are 1D and very much “evil for the sake of it”.  Also, the end fell a tad flat for the following reasons:

I think the idea that she gives up NASA while they are having sex (a time big decisions are not to be made) really undercuts all her passion for this job she’s been working towards for 7+ years. I get it, she loves him and we know he loves her too which is what saves it a bit, but I think it’d have been better if they mated and he let her go and she came back because she PREFERS being with him after all and then the WFH option would be a cherry on top. Plus never would NASA participate in a proposal plot lmao I think just a random “space video” would have been a better choice.

Honestly it was really good until Ali shifted. I get that they foreshadowed it but it was still a little unbelievable. And then she mated with Marcus instantly even though there were still huge issues with the pack.

HOLY MOLEY! This may be my favorite Milly Taiden book ever and that’s saying something. This story moved me on so many levels. Alpha Bet is a book about opposites. The fluffy brainiac and the prep jock. Aliya is super smart and half human. Marcus is her best friends older brother, the new alpha, hot as hades and all wolf. Marcus is totally oblivious to the hell that has been Ali’s life in the pack. She has been picked on for her brains, her shape but mostly because she is a half-breed. When she is offered a job working on the Mars project for NASA she is so headed for Houston. Marcus has to find a way to make her want to stay as his mate. This is a moving story with lots of steamy sex and occasional comedic relief. I highly recommend.

I like reading Milly Taiden any time need a light read with job at NASA for a mate in a pack that doesn't like her and not love. They are cute together.

I really liked Marcus and all the things he was doing to win over Ali. He truly worked to make a difference in her eyes and show her that she was his mate & he loved her.

This book grabbed my attention from the very beginning.
I loved this book so hard, I didn't want to put it down.
I love how the author has always had "curvy" girls in her books, but this time she has taken things to a bigger level.
This book is about a "nerd" who is in love with the alpha, nothing new there. But this story, to me, is more about bullying.
I think it's great Ms. Taiden wrote about this subject. I liked how Aliya shows you can still be strong after being bullied. You can overcome it, but it does need to be addressed. Loved the whole topic and how it was handled. Because, not everyone sees it.

Marcus was great too.
