I have been excited for this installment from the Wildcat team. I love a good marriage of convenience and Jenshak wrote a great one. I loved the wit and banter between Jade and Declan even though they are completely different types of people. But him stepping up to the plate for her and helping her keep her security in life was amazing. There are lots of feels within these pages as these two unravel what is really between them. Great addition to the series!

Unfortunately, I didn't love this book as much as previous novels in the series. I had a hard time connecting with Jade as I just couldn't understand why she was letting her boss dictate such an important aspect of her life. Declan was such a freaking sweetheart, and I hated seeing Jade take advantage of that--even if she felt remorseful for it. I was unable to fully connect with and sympathize with Jade because I felt like she kept making the same mistakes over and over, while simultaneously running over poor Declan's heart. Nevertheless, there were some sweeter moments between Declan and Jade, and I loved the scenes with our previous couples blissfully happy. Overall, this wasn't my favorite of the series, but I look forward to more by Rebecca♡
Tropes: fake relationship, marriage of convenience, cinnamon roll hero, down-on-her-luck heroine, hockey romance, forced proximity, band of brothers, found family, steamy

Oh my gosh I love Declan even more than Tyler!
Marriage of convenience is one of my favorite tropes and this book knocked it put of the park! I absolutely love the found family in this series and the way Declan loves Jade is swoony AF! I love this whole series and can’t wait for more.

I love Declan and Jade’s relationship 💕 The dynamic of their relationship through the book is so exciting and fun. But it’s not all fun and games. They both endure struggles and growth, separately and as a couple. I was hooked on this book from the first page and I’m so sad that it’s over… bring on book 4!

Thank you Valentine PR for my gifted audio copy.
I loved this book! While it’s part of a series, I listened to it as a stand alone. Jade is a determined and hardworking writer for a Bridal magazine. When her long anticipated wedding is called off, Declan steps in.
Declan knows what it’s like to work hard and only have yourself to depend on. He’s happy to help Jade with this marriage of convenience. One year, rules for living together and a let’s get it out of our system later, they may actually be falling for each other.
The narration is so good! Connor Crais always does a fantastic job and brings Declan to life. CJ Bloom is a new narrator to me, but I really enjoyed her. This was a fun, easy and sexy listen. This is also my first book by Rebecca & I can’t wait to read more of her books.

If a man says he will build me a library, I’m sold. I loved Declan. This fake marriage romance was so sweet with that slight dash of steam. I love the Wildcat world!!
