So much back and forth! But it definitely kept me reading. Good for folks who love an unreliable narrator and potentially evil adult children.

The characters are all SO unlikable. The twist was good at first and then totally predictable. It was a page turner and a quick read though.

There are no likable characters in this book. The last 100 pages were a thrill because of the twist ending, but truly it was such a drag to read. I hated every single person and didn't agree with any of their choices. Why this book was recommended over and over on Tiktok, I will never understand.

I finished this book within a day. The compelling mystery had me hooked, eager to uncover the true antagonist driving the plot. 👀 And let me tell you, the ending did not disappoint!
While the initial chapters left me frustrated, particularly with Joanne's naivety in dealing with Chloe, the story's latter half compensated. 😅 Despite some predictable plot twists, the gripping psychological thriller aspect kept me captivated till the very end.
If you're seeking a read that's both thrilling and easy to immerse yourself in, this book is an easy pick, despite its initial frustrations.
