This audiobook had me cackling. If you want a funny, extremely spicy, monster romance, where the MMC truly wants to just spoil his girl-- LOOK NO FURTHER. Theo is here. He will do all of that and more.

This book is the epitome of sweetness and very low stakes. I tend to prefer more angst and multi POV, but this short, fluffy read is a great palate cleanser without sacrificing spice.

The world Celeste and Theo occupy is like ours except it is centered around "monsters" with humans living on an isolated preserve. A human's only real chance of experiencing any kind of city life is to be matched to a monster spouse. This is the reality that informs Celeste in deciding to meet Theo but despite that, their romance has little tension and progresses quickly. The resulting spice with the size difference and necessary stretching is definitely the highlight to me, though.

Well written, easy to read, great book to cuddle up with. I do recommend to anyone who prefers light books or wants a change of pace between more intense reads

*I received this book as an ARC

The narrator was great.

The story is really fluffy and cute. I think I missed the set up for why humans are living in a special walled area. Seems weird.

The most adorable book!! I was cheesin the whole time I was reading.
They were the cutest couple of all time with the sweetest Minotaur in book existence! It was written so well to give a quicker time frame without rushing and helped understand the mind of Theo without having his POV.
Celeste was on the meeker side but she was still loveable and strong with her man around.
The spice scenes were fabulously unique and I really enjoyed them. It gave a realism to a huge monster with a human and how it could actually work. Plus it was hot AF!

Another hit with Lyonnes books ❤️❤️

I’ve only ever read Lyonne’s trollkin series, so this was honestly a breath of fresh air. And not in the sense of, I don’t like the troll books, but this one felt more like how I did when I read an Ashley Bennet novel for the first time.

It was light and refreshing and I’m so happy I have a copy of this book.

What you’ll find:
- Minotaur husband
- human/monster dating app situation
- larger than life peen
- cute and light hearted
- novella
