The perfect mix of cute and funny and sexy. I just loved the main characters right away and their dynamic was just so real and fun. Love me a curvy girl romance, just because I feel so much more connecte to characters like that! And I love me a big ole athlete boi! This was a true friends to lovers that I really enjoyed from beginning to end. The
third act breakup was one I actually enjoyed reading because it was so real and it wasn't just them giving in to each other after being apart for a few days.
It was just such a wonderful story that I devoured so quickly, I couldn't put it down!

While I did enjoy the plot and the characters of this book, it has elements that made me yell "hell no" especially the internalised fatphobia and glorifying thinness even though it's supposed to be fat positive/body neutral and the sometimes toxic possessiveness surrounding their relationship and virginity. And it's often rather obvious the author isn't from the UK not just in the language but in other details as well. I still enjoyed the book and because I'm a sucker for interconnected stand-alones I'm probably going to read the Harris Brothers series. I'm definitely reading the book about Tilly and Santino because I'm very intrigued.

Thoroughly enjoyed! Laughed out loud a lot, and found some passages particularly inspiring. However, had a lot of moments where I felt like I had missed something--I thought it was a standalone, but I'm wondering if it is truly part of a series? And I wish the characters had yelled, shrieked, and bellowed slightly less. It began to feel a bit over the top. Still, very cute and funny read with a plus-size heroine, which was exactly what I was hoping it would be.

Super cute friends to lovers story. The banter between Freya and Mac is so cute. She is a seamstress and he is a football (soccer) star. They start out as friends, just watching Netflix and hanging out every night. Then she wants to have sex for the first time and he is more than happy to help.

I decided to read this on a whim to help get myself out of a short reading slump, and while it did the job it isn't really a book I would recommend to another. It was cute, funny, sexy, and entertaining at times; however, it just didn't sit right with me that the plus-sized protagonist really came into her self worth after getting the attention of her fit and best friend. There were just a lot of components that made me think a read through from a sensitivity reader might have done this book a whole world of good.
