Courtney is a successful woman, who is sick to death of the dating game. One night during an outing with her best friend Dina, she decides that she wants to skip dating all together and just get married. No more dating. NOPE!!!

“My Name is Courtney Jane Salinger- and I’m sick of games.

Sick of the Friday night bar-scene-cum meat market.

Sick of the boy-girl, man-woman, Mars-Venus, flirtation-without expectation, game-playing nonsense.

Sick of awful dates and one-night stands, booty calls and guys that don’t call back, mixed messages or NO messages and- and- and- I’m sick of all of it.

I’m done.

I just can’t do it anymore.

It’s too hard, and even worse: little by little,

it’s making me hard.

It’s breaking my heart.”

So here we are….in a bar with Josh the hot bartender flirting with Dina and Courtney on the side lines. Josh the hot bartender that doesn’t know she exists. Done! She is done. That is how Courtney finds herself filling out an application for Arrange Me. A service that arranges marriages for people who want a spouse without the hassle of dating. They have experts and all. What could go wrong?

Josh can’t believe his ears. Courtney just signed up for an arranged marriage. Is she crazy? How can this be? He never got the chance to take her on a date. Is it too late??? Can he convince her not to do it?

This book was a unique and original story line. I find the concept of the arrange marriage intriguing and found it to be a fascinating story. The book not only had an original story plot, it was fun and exciting. The characters were amazing. Josh is the sweet guy, who watches from the side lines. He is very interesting with amazing talent. Courtney is very independent and strong willed.

This book is the beginning of Josh and Courtney’s story. Their story is about to take a nose dive in the next book and I am a bit worried for the future. They have a rough road ahead and it may just tear them apart. So be prepared to be left hanging on to find the happy ending that they deserve.

This was the first book by Katy Regnery that I have read. I have to say that I thoroughly enjoyed it. It was a wonderful read, with an interesting and unique story line. It has lovable characters and moves along in a smooth and flawless pace. It is a sweet romance full of fun, with plenty of twists to keep things interesting. I am a new fan of her work, that’s for sure!!

So if you love the secret crush romances with a unique twist, then this book is for you. Finally a different approach. A different angle in the romance world, that is fun and interesting. So grab your copy today. You will be glad you did.

What a Wow of a Part One!

Another captivating read by Katy Regnery. This woman has a way with words. Her writing always has a way of pulling me in and touching my heart. Arrange Me had a lighter mood than her previous releases and I loved it.

This book is about Courtney. She was sick of the single scene. She wanted out and wanted out now. Loved seeing how she went about changing her situation. I’m looking forward to seeing how her and her man work things out and where they go from here. I really, really can’t wait.

This is part one of a duet so stay tuned.

This book was interesting, but I didn't love it.

I loved the concept, and thought it was a fun storyline but I'll admit, by the end of the book, I was just ready to be done. This one didn't quite hit a home run with me.

So I'd definitely say give this one a try since it might work for you.

Loved the narrators. Though the female sounds like Miley Cyrus.

Oh Josh. What a sweet man you are. There was only one question I wish they would have asked him. Now for book 2.

Okay, real talk, as someone that’s watched Married At First Sight religiously for the past 28 episodes, I’m in no position to say that I’m not a fan of this “arranged marriage” trope. I heavily enjoy it.

This .... I wasn’t a fan of. I’m not a fan of people who give up everything just to please a person they somehow realised they were in love with a few weeks ago ??? I actually wouldn’t even say in love with, but wanted to see where things went.

Courtney is just so ridiculously persistent in her goals for an arranged marriage that it made no sense. Josh was obsessed and gave up everything to get married when he didn’t even want to get married!

AND no less than 24 hours after getting married she started talking about kids!!

WHAT HAPPENED TO YOUR INDIVIDUAL GOALS AND DREAMS. ANOTHER PERSON DOES NOT COMPLETE YOU

Arrange Me (The Arranged Duo, #1) by Katy Regnery

Out of the frying pan into the fire. Who needs the drama of a bad reality show, with Katy Regnery waiting in the wings. Arrange Me can charm the heart right out your chest. Witty, irresistible and with the heartfelt emotion Regnery is known for, Arrange Me turns clueless into cute. Courtney is a pleasure you can't put down. I never stop looking for my next addiction and I think I've found the one.

Interesting premise with an intriguing development of the story and characters for about the first 80% of the book. The conflict after they got married didn't really make much sense to me given Courtney being adamant about her reasons for getting married and her approach to it. What did she really think it was going to be like?

Also - my mistake, but I totally did not realize this was part of a duo. Not a fan of two-parters, but now I'm in so we'll see what happens with them.

This book was everything... sweet, drama filled, emotional, addictive, fun and different. I've never been one to watch the "Married at first sight" tv show that's out now, but it's a completely different experience reading it and all and feeling like you're there too. Katy Regnery with her words, was able to do that. So much more exciting and entertaining than anything you'll find on tv lol.

I absolutely enjoyed every minute of this story and with a huge cliffhanger at the end (you've been warned lol) I can't WAIT to dive into the next book. The NEED is real people!!!

Note: An ARC was provided by the author. The full review can be read on Dog-Eared Daydreams.

I originally thought that the whole arranged marriage thing was similar to a reality show I’ve seen on television once, Married at First Sight, but the setup that financial analyst Courtney actually goes through isn’t filmed. I think that her being so close to hitting thirty and still not finding “the one” had her frustrated and looking for an alternative, and hey, sometimes, it’s those perceived failures in life that have us pushing for something different, and different can oftentimes lead to the greatest of adventures. Now, the timing of Courtney’s decision is what proves to be really interesting because it’s when she finally pays closer attention to what’s been in front of her this whole time—aspiring playwright and bartender Josh Dalton—and he’s definitely noticed Courtney.

Now, this book is just the first a new duet, so yes, it does end in a cliffhanger of sorts. Don’t worry, it’s nothing that I would label “evil” but Courtney doesn’t necessarily get the happy ending that she’s been hoping for here. To call her situation “complicated” would be an understatement, but the second books is already scheduled for release in May 20th. I’m looking forward to seeing how everything gets resolved: Courtney’s plan for an arranged marriage, whether there’s something more to her thing with Josh, and if reality trumps fantasy or vice-versa. 4.5 stars for Arrange Me. ♥

Katy has done it again with her unique storyline and beautiful prose. This story was so sweet. I absolutely adored the characters and I had so much fun reading this. I was definitely left wanting more. I cannot wait to see what Katy has in store for us next.
