a bit of a slower burn, but interesting enough to keep you engaged. each chapter rotates between focusing on different characters which kept things interesting. fairly predictable storyline overall but had some nice, wholesome parts throughout. the synopsis makes it seem like there's something supernatural going on but there isn't.

I just found the book to be extremely predictable. I knew what was going on basically after chapter one.
If you're looking for something that is more mysterious and suspenseful, this is not for you. If you don't mind that the plot is predictable, and just want to see how the story turns out, go ahead.
