Maybe nothing groundbreaking, but a succinct book about investing your money. I found a lot of the side stories interesting, especially Warren Buffett and how and when his wealth grew. More than anything, it was timely to read while the market was plummeting due to tariffs... plan for the plan to not go according to plan. Check.

2.5
Things I liked about the book: the audiobook narration was done very well and was pleasant to hear. There are few chapters that were interesting - chapters 10, 11, 16, 17.
I stopped reading this book 3 times, but then push through in the end, it was not terrible, I liked the ending. The book a basically collection of small stories about different people (like investment bankers, CEOs millionaire, other rich people) making financial decisions and the author talking about their risk and rewards on their decisions. This necessary doesn’t have much to do with managing own finances, but looking at others finances and how they manage it, and that’s why I think that it miss marketed. I did not necessarily enjoy listening to numerous people life, but at some instances I did find it interesting when he spoke about economy and economic growth. This is definitely not a book about guide to money or anything. It’s about just looking through history and how money has been flowing through time in the market.

Pretty basic and intuitive information but was good food for thought

I am not involved in finance or business. As a mental health therapist, I was initially interested in the title and premise of this book. However, I found it difficult to finish reading it. Although the stories included are significant, they are also dull. I did not gain any new insights, probably because it was so challenging to get through each chapter. Overall, this book was not a good fit for me.

I am obsessed with Morgan Housel’s writing. He is excellent at conveying his thoughts in a simple yet intelligent manner. I might have to pick up his other works! This book is not just applicable to finance or economics, and I wish everyone could read it.
