It took me a while to read this book and it is a lot. Your mileage will depend on how compelling you find Thanos as a character since while there are other characters he is front and center the whole time.
So many characters! At times a little hard to follow. A fun read.
I'd forgotten that I had read this in 2014, so I reread it as part of a superhero comic book club in 2018. My rating is still the same now as it was four years ago (really, it's a 3.5 star). It was fun to experience the twists and the intensity of the plot but I felt the exposition dragged a bit until we got to the actual confrontations with Thanos. I also felt more backstory regarding some of the characters (this incarnation of Thor, Silver Surfer, and Adam Warlock in particular) would have benefited me. I still would recommend it for anyone curious about the movie's inspiration.
Damn, my heart is broken. Beautiful graphics, good time-line, predictable but nice outcome...
Again, I really love Thanos' relationship with Death. I think there's a flawed humanity in Thanos attempt to be noticed by Death. I actually really love that relationship as a primary motivator for galactic peril.
I absolutely loved this story. Really enjoyed seeing the parallels between the movie and the comic itself.
Truño cósmico. No lo salva ni el dibujo de George Perez de los primeros 2 números.
Eh, this is kind of outdated. There's so much unnecessary dialogue. But the art is amazing and the storyline is cool.
