Досить цікавий твір.
Жозеф Бедьє був медієвістом, тож не дивно, що роман досконало розкриває етичні, політичні, духовні особливості Середньовіччя. Тут багато пригод, драми ну і звичайно чистого кохання, як і личить лицарському роману.
Для мене найцікавішим стало поєднання реалістичного і казкового, часто було таке відчуття, ніби читаєш серйозний історичний твір, аж тут з'являється дракон або чарівний пес.
Мені здається, що цей твір міг би мати круту екранізацію)

UPD. Виявляється є екранізації!!!

An amazing medieval love story. The simplicity of the language allows Tristan and Iseult's story to shine through, and the ending is beautiful in its sadness.
