This is such a powerful piece of work.
It talks about the generation gap in terms of outlook on life and the different principles of these two generations.
The both of them lament if the other ever will value the things they value, and do not approve of each others' manner of living. I get to see both sides of the coin and it really did ache my heart a lot. I relate to this a lot in terms of my mother and grandmother as well.

The work does not antagonise anyone at all. Both mother and daughter I see are concerned about each other because they both are convinced that the other's manner of living will ultimately destroy them. It gives me a lot to think about in terms of the dynamics I have with my family.

The imageryery is beautiful and I loved the various references to a variety of cultures and myths of paradise and home. It also asks us readers, is our body a mere myth, if there is no solid truth to stand on?

It struck home on this one . I loved it.
Really thin book though. I finished it in about 15 minutes.
I wish I could own this so that I can analyse each and every line and make notes on it.
