It was okay. There were some parts that I found interesting but most of it wasnt that engaging. I think I went into this with more expectations. It wasnt hard to read and the redactions made it more real?!
The chapter with her in the FBI and how they spray pepper spray in your face (during training) was nuts.

I had mixed feelings about this book. While I understand the need, the redactions were annoying and hard to get past. Lots of awful examples of sexism and educational especially for her tenure on and after 9/11. Would have liked to see deeper examination on race.

I will stick to my favs The Americans and Homeland.

This was the spy memoir I was looking for. The things Tracy Walder went through were fascinating. I found some of her "just to be clear" paragraphs unnecessary, and she sometimes made assumptions that seemed unfounded, but overall I enjoyed this read.
