Something about Kandi Steiner's writing just works so well for me. Her books always play out like a movie in my head, and I become completely immersed. I ended up finishing this in one sitting without even realizing it. This gave me the same feelings I had with "A Love Letter to Whiskey." You can always count on Kandi Steiner to write an angsty romance that will rip your heart into shreds and then proceed to try to bandage it back up. The "right person, wrong time" trope always gives me the most emotional trauma, and I eat it up every single time.

It did make me a little teary eyed, but overall a okay story.

The angst I could to be little to bland to be a ‘never see him for 7 years’ situation.

But I did love Morgan and Oliver’s relationship with them be side characters.

I felt if Tyler just talked it out with Jasmine then this would have never happened the way it did!

Gosh, we just need communication!
