I’m so happy this story exists!! The original book was beautiful but it was a bunch of vignettes with little connecting to each other. The author came back and fully fleshed out the story, giving these small doodles a story to grasp on to, and what a beautiful story it was!! I first read the original story two years ago, while I was not doing well and I think some of it went over my head. Reading the story now, I felt a deeper connection with the text. I’m so happy to have both versions and can’t wait to watch the film!!

One of the greatest book that I’ve read so far. The animation brings magnificence to the story. It looks so real! And this book is really representing about what happened in ourselves these days (or at least, myself). It might be a short book to read but it’s really worth it.

This book is telling you that you’re not alone and lost. You will find your way to find your ‘truly’ home and home isn’t always a place. It could be something that makes your heart warm. And don’t be afraid! Of anything. Especially if you haven’t tried it. It’s okay to feel small, to cry, to acknowledge your own feelings, to be honest about everything, and to ask for a help. It’s really okay, we’re a human too. Just remember that you’re loved and you’re enough just as you are.

It’s really heartwarming to read. Very much recommended if you feel so down on yourself or you need something to hug you close. This book will help you to make you feel loved and worth! A self reminder, I must say.
