I thoroughly enjoyed this book and the characters and the ever-evolving criminal events.

Yes, there is the formating presentation of no quotation marks and lengthy paragraphs, but once I got started, it was surprisingly easy to pick up the flow.

Kudos, too, to the English translator, Miranda France. An excellent job.

I picked this up at my library after having heard about it on the Argentina episode of the podcast, A Strong Sense of Place.

I think the murder mystery story line had a lot of potential. For me it got lost in a poor translation that didn't do the story justice and I got lost in the paragraph form dialogue.
