Adorable. The art is amazing. Captured the spirit of energetic pugs everywhere, down to the happy expressions. Well written with a cute vocabulary. Sweet story about perseverance and acceptance of those who are different than you. Good for children!

Adorable - Puddle Pug loves mud puddles so much, but Mama Pig won't let him wallow with her and her piglets. When disaster strikes, can Puddle prove his worth?

Percy loves puddles. He finally finds the perfect puddle, but the pigs that live in the puddle don't like Percy. Percy wins the heart of mama pig by saving her tiniest piglet after a storm. Mama welcomes him into the puddle and Percy finds his heart content.
Puddle Pug would be appropriate for readers between two and five years of age. It features charming illustrations, with an expressive Percy and pigs. It also features whimsical rhymes about Percy's many puddles, which could be used to develop phonemic awareness in young readers. Young children will identify with plot elements such as the lost piglet and lonely outcast Percy.

I can't get enough pug books, and this one was absolutely adorable, though in my world, not the most believable since my pugs hate water. :p

I am a sucker for a dog book. Throw in cute pigs and lots of mud and you've got me sold.

A cute book about...well...a pug who loves puddles, obviously. A book for younger children, it's a simple story of a dog who longs for the ideal puddle, finds one, but is kicked out by the mother pig who lives there with her piglets. All ends well with the utter lack of a single gory death or even the mention of bacon. Cute illustrations.
