Its not often I read the sequel faster than the first, this was stressful and I loved it. I did keep guessing plot points which either is because the book leans into tropes or because I read too many fantasy series

Ughhhhhhhhhhhhhh…. WHY!! WHY IS THAT THE ENDING! What the heck.
It was a little slow, them getting back to the castle. I get it, but it was slow.
