Poorly edited with a weird after school special tone. If there are better books on this topic aimed at teens I’d love some suggestions.

I have a few issues with this book:

1. The book has stories and journal entries for kids to connect to and reflect about, but what kid is going to pick up a book with the subtitle: An Open Conversation for Parents and Tweens.
2. The author keeps talking about Snapchat screenshots and I wonder if she knows that we know when someone takes a screenshot.
3. As a teacher of middle and high schoolers, my kids know the contents of this book- Except maybe the dopamine part...My eyes almost rolled right out of my head when the book compared the dopamine high a boy gets when eating pizza to the dopamine high he gets when looking for erotic pictures online.)
4. I have taken bystander intervention courses and the advice offered in that section is not realistic for teens and tweens. Telling adults and confronting bullies are not always realistic options.
5. If the book is aimed at the kids, it is a bit condescending.
