The cover really caught my eye and I adore a good thriller...but sadly I just couldn't latch on to this one. It was all a bit to vague and fat fetched and that stopped me being invested in the story.

Kind of more 2.75
This started really well, was intrigued straight away (Zoey wakes up in a swanky rehab centre in the middle of the Mexican desert with no memory of previous night/how she got there) but from about halfway through the wheels sort of fell off for me .
There were several unlikeable characters, Zoey procrastinated about what to do (or opened her gob and made situation worse) added to this the plot felt like it had been forced together to suit the outcome the author wanted.
This book was a similar, "locked room" Mystery like the author's previous book (set in the opposite climate of Antarctica) also things, like the previous, became very far fetched and too ridiculous for me. I kept reading to have things concluded.
After the previous book I was willing to give the author another try, not 100% sure if I would read her next book.
With thanks to the author and the Pigeonhole for the opportunity.
