The book is excellent and should be required reading for every human. The author himself came across as a little arrogant and I wish his workaholism had been acknowledged, but it is still an entirely necessary book.

I picked this up as a potential read for my students, ultimately I don't think it'll work for me as a whole class read. However, this story of a man grappling with his own health and death is compelling and meaningful.
