I'd give it six stars if I could. An unbelievably moving book that is poetic in nature.

When it comes to reflecting on one's own mortality, I feel this book is a must read. I know for sure that I've taken some lessons away from it that I shan't ever forget.

What an amazingly brave man.

The excellent writing and thoughtful, informed viewpoint make reading this book, strangely, a pleasure. The topic is not pleasant, but one we all face. Ultimately, the individual essays suffer a little from being collected like this, so I recommend to read one chapter at a time and to let them sink in rather than plow through the whole book.
