Wow. What a conclusion to an epic series. The buildup from each book to the next, to culminate with Drew’s story and his path to redemption and happily ever after.

If the first sentence above didn’t give it away: THIS IS THE LAST BOOK IN A SERIES WHICH BUILDS UPON ONE ANOTHER. DO NOT READ IF YOU HAVE NOT READ THE OTHER BOOKS IN THIS SERIES!

I love how SD has built up a world where each of her stories connect in a little way. In Drew we get cameos from some well loved characters who help Drew and the gang. We of course have the evil protagonist(s) who are up to no good. I love seeing everyone rallying around one another to support each other as well as to combat 🧍‍♀️ trafficking and the general f’ery that has been about in the Elite since the beginning of the Rydeville Elite series.

I loved Drew’s growth here and we really get into the depths of his backstory. He really is a victim of his environment but became a survivor of his upbringing. I loved seeing him open himself up as the book went on and allowing himself to open up more. I loved getting to know more about the FMC and seeing her being able to break down the protective barrier Drew put around himself.

IMO this novel seemed to have the romance aspect as a subplot with the focus being on the world these characters have lived and fought in for the past 15-20 years. It’s important, and the smexy is there, but there is so much more to this story.

Loved this book and sad to see this series be completed, but can’t wait to read what comes next from SD.
