Welp, I've fallen in love with another essayist and will be obsessively consuming all of their content and then descend into a depressive state when I run out of new stuff by them and stalk their Instagram until I die. This was HILARIOUS and RELATABLE and HEART-WARMING and SAD and DID NOT HOLD BACK and I LOVED IT. I listened to it on audio, which is narrated by the author, and I would highly, HIGHLY recommend that experience.

I really like Samantha Irby's perspective on life and her writing is very funny and very honest. I enjoyed We Are Never Meeting In Real Life but I remember it took me a while to get used to her writing idiosyncrasies. That wasn't an issue here since I listened to the audiobook, which made it much easier to connect to her. Her narration also made it much funnier than if I'd been reading it myself.

Samantha Irby could write about anything and make it into a good time. I'll read anything she writes.

Made it about 1/3 through - the self depracating nature of her comedy was too negative for me at the time I picked it up.
