I read this as a quick intermediate book while reading the Harry Potter series. VERY different style and I'm highly think that I would have enjoyed it much more if I would have read it at a different time.

Throughout the story, I felt sad for Felicité as she was constantly surrounded by loss. It broke my heart because she was a nice and caring person with a big heart. Overall, the writing is magnificent and very realistic and worth reading.

no opinion yet on the contents of this novella but the book design gets 5 stars. i love the size, the format, the font, the cover, everything. it makes me want to read the entire "art of novella" series and i haven't even finished the first page of this one.
