So...i read the first 4 vols back in high school. Reread thwm to complete the series when i bought vol 5. Admittedly, its not as great as i remember. I dont know if it's the translation or not, but there seemed to be alot not explained...and then also a lot that an info dump.
Forgot it was also a card game. Cool i guess...maybe that contributed to the plot issues.
Just feel like a lot was left open.....and wasn't really a satisfying ending. Still, pretty style....intriguing characters.

Shame. I had been curious about this one for ages and finally got around to reading the first volume - I had no idea it was based on a card game. Had the story worked, I wouldn't have minded, but there was NO explanation whatsoever (the first page opens with a massive, millenia-old battle between...angels? demons? a group of human with special powers?) & I honestly couldn't tell some of the characters apart, even though there's a character chart included.
