Thank you to Berkley for this early review copy.
I really loved “Cross the Line”! It was a fun, romantic comedy and I really enjoyed the characters and the F1 race atmosphere,
I had never read a book featuring a race-car-driver-romantic-interest, and I found it so fun! Dev was such a perfect love interest. He was so sweet and protective, and also just really likeable! I have read too many romance novels where the male love interest is the biggest jerk and loser. Dev is absolutely a sweetie and he felt very trustworthy and reliable. I love how their romance took time to grow. The sexual tension drives their initial attraction, but the friendship they have drives their entire relationship.
I’m very impressed by this romance and I would highly recommend it!

A cute, feel-good romcom! My first F1 book and thoroughly enjoyed the genre. Definitely felt like a good mixture of the romance plot and the f1 plot

I’m really missing F1 right now so thought I’d give this book a try. It helped fill the void lol but honestly kind of a predictable plot and it went on too long.

Why was this so damn cute?!?!? I've been so wary of reading other F1 romances because I feel like Lauren Asher set the bar so unbelievably high, but I took a chance with this one, and it was so worth it!!!
This book is the epitome of childhood friends to lovers. Dev knows Willow so fully inside and out, and I absolutely loved seeing him down bad for her from page one. He takes such good care of her while also believing in her abilities so wholeheartedly, even when everyone else is doubting her.
Not to mention, the way this man spoils her. He buys her 200 macarons, rents entire houses for relaxing dates and even before, when they were kids, wins her an elephant at the fair because she wants it so badly and then teases her relentlessly about it when he realizes she still has it all these years later.
And Willow is Dev's biggest supporter every step of the way. From rehabing his image to ensuring he finds a way out of his dead-end contract and even making an entire display to show off fan letters and pictures to remind him how amazing he is.
These two talk a lot about fate, and I absolutely believe they really are soulmates. They complete and compliment each other so perfectly that it's impossible to think differently.
Absolutely, highly recommend. Sweet, fun, and spicy in every way a romcom should be ❤️
