Not my fav in this series. I didn’t really vibe with this couple, but I liked how we got a wrap up for all the couples at the end.

Probably my least favourite of the 4 books in the Twisted series. A) Why does everyone end up engaged/married/pregnant? It doesn’t add anything to the story. B)There is no spice until you reach 60% of the way through C) Stella’s stalker could have been given a perspective and it would have improved the book.

Whilst I'm not a fan of all the size queen references throughout this series and the repeated description of a single thrust to the hilt...FMC are lovable and all have an individual barrier they must overcome (and do!), I liked how the MMC were all varying degrees of morally grey and would burn the world down for their gals.
This book was the last in the series and whilst not my favourite the MMC was 🔥🔥

These books on the surface could be seen as a comfort read but they do cover some pretty tense and tricky topics on self worth, confidence and trust.

Twisted Lies is the fourth and final book in the Twisted series. Stella Alonso works at D.C Style a local fashion magazine. She lives alone at The Mirage, a luxury building, after one of her best friends Jules moves out to live with her boyfriend Josh. In addition to working at the magazine, Stella is a influencer, who has nearly a million followers. When she gets a price hike bill of care from a long term care facility she pays for someone very special to her, she knows she needs more money fast. A way to boost her follower count to a million is to fake date someone. Enter Christian Harper, a supremely handsome CEO of a security company, and owner of The Mirage. He and Stella embark on a mutually beneficial relationship. She will accompany him to various functions, and he’ll be her ‘boyfriend’, and she’ll post various discreet photos of him on her Instagram.  Thus begins a roller coaster ride of stalkers, secrets, and sexy times, taking them from D.C., New York, Hawaii to Italy.

This was a wonderfully romantic and suspenseful story that perfectly wrapped up the Twisted series. Stella really grew in her confidence throughout the story, not only in her business life, but in her personal life as well. Christian learned to really open himself up to Stella, and ultimately to believe in love. Seeing where the couples are a few years later in the epilogue is a real treat.  Definitely read the Twisted series!

I was skeptical going into this story because I loved Twisted Games but I wasn’t sure if I would like Stella’s story. Love love grumpy x shun shine and was excited to see Christian eat his words but wasn’t sure how I’d take to Stella due to her brief characterization in Twisted Love. But I loved this book straight from the jump and the last few chapters really got me in the feels. This was a long one but a perfect ending to the Twisted Series. Now, I can indulge in TikToks without fear of spoilers :)
