OH MY GOD! THE FINAL BOOK IN THE TWISTED SERIES! AHHHH! I CAN’T BELIEVE IT! But… I feel like I had been waiting for Stella and Christian’s story for the longest time. Out of all the couples in this series, there wasn’t much to know beforehand on these two, and the mystery of it left me craving and wanting to know what would unfold in this book.

As per usual, make sure to look up trigger warnings as this book does contain some subject material that you may or may not be comfortable with. In addition, Ana posted content warnings before the beginning of the book. This book had, morally grey male lead, morality chain, fake dating, roommates, and boy obsessed!

Based off reading the little parts in the very beginning of the book, I was already giddy with joy at seeing just how obsessed Christian was over Stella like, the fact that he got…annoyed over how Dante was towards greeting Stella, Christian had NO CHILL WHATSOEVER OVER STELLA! And with the threats and actions to back him up, I was instantly LOVING Christian and his morally grey, Stella obsessed self! Also the way Christian was possessive and protective over Stella…. IN A BOOK IT IS A-OKAY WITH ME! WHOOP WHOOP! Throughout the book, I couldn’t help but hear that one audio from TikTok that goes likes, “The way that I would let this man…” and then the rest gets bleeped out haha yup totally reminded me of Christian.

Even from the beginning, I found that I connected with Stella. Being the same age as her and having similar mindsets to what was happening around her, I could see myself relating to her, and feeling like, “omg! She totally gets me!” Even Stella’s thoughts on dating and love, I could understand where she was coming from, and it made me see more of her character that I had been dying to see for the longest time. Among other reasons, this one stood out to me and it was one of those moments that made me love Stella and appreciate the story even more than I already did. When you find a connection to the character or the story or something microscopic that tugs at your heart strings or speaks to you, that’s when you know you’ve fallen in love with the book. Stella definitely spoke to me, and while she had her own fears and insecurities, I could emphasize with her emotions. Obviously some things that happened to Stella, I couldn’t relate to as I’ve never had a stalker before, etc. but there were still some kernels of personality that I admired and felt like I could get where she was coming from.

While reading, I totally forgot that Ana had mentioned this story would be slow burn so you can imagine that each scene with Stella and Christian ALMOST kissing or having a deep moment get interrupted had me at the edge of my seat the whole time! I love slow burn romances because, with all the tension, the build up, and the close calls that could have easily turned into a passionate fueled “no pants” dance, when the moment finally does arrive where something happens, It’s absolutely perfect! Most of the time, I caught myself re-reading certain passages to make sure I read it correctly because, I had thought something might have happened, but really it was just the build up that was getting good and getting me excited!

The moment that Christian and Stella finally gave into their feelings and DID SOMETHING!!! WOOOOOOOO! YASSSSS! SO HAPPY AND EXCITED! The spice, the dirty talk, the romance, THE SPICE! And of course the development between them was absolutely amazing. Oh and did I mention the spice? Oh ok just thought I’d mention it AGAIN just in case.

The level of danger and suspense was a good element to the story, and left me wondering who the stalker was that was after Stella. With Christian’s protectiveness, it not only made Stella feel safe, but shoot even I FELT SAFE! Though despite all of Christian’s efforts, the stalker was still able to still sneak into Stella’s apartment, take pictures of her, and somehow follow her without being seen. The stakes definitely got higher as the story progressed, and had me in a state of, “omg omg!!”.

By the end, I was so happy with the way everything panned out for Stella and Christian. In addition, seeing the whole series come to an end was bittersweet but wholeheartedly fantastic and great to see the gang all together even throughout the years based off the ending and the epilogue. The last few chapters and the epilogue made me so happy and awww just made me smile. Ana did a phenomenal job with this book, this series, and I’ve grown attached and loved every single character. Each couple has my love equally, and I’m going to miss them dearly. On the bright side, I can always read the books again. Stella was a beautiful soul, Christian was truly a softie at heart for Stella. (Sigh) loved this book so much.

I didn't understand that "bored to tears" was literal until this book
