Since seeing the recent Wonder Woman movie I have become honestly obsessed with the character and this was my first foray into any of her comic books and I was not disappointed! The drawings of all the characters is so gorgeous and the story was great, a little confusing but nothing a reread won't fix! Will definitely be checking out vol 2 in the near future.

OK I know that there was a "thing" between Superman and Wonder Woman (which I cannot approve) but the Rebirth Issue for the best fighter in the history of Comics was really good!

did NOT understand a thing about this ... oh dear Wonder woman would be ruined in Rebirth won't it? like Superman was ruined by new 52 :s

"Truth is the first casualty of war."

This was amazing.

Where's Batman really didn't need a "rebirth" at all, WW fits an interesting place in that she equally did and didn't. In terms of the New 52 overall, I would say no because of Azzarello's and Chiang's fantastic run, which like Batman was one of the best parts of the N52. That said, when they left and the Finch's took over...man did she need a rebirth.

And this does it perfectly. I've never read Rucka's previous run on WW, but this makes me need to as soon as possible. I love everything this does and how reflective it is. It really comments on her history and how muddled it is at times and her search for the truth--something so important to her. I love the artist change as well, visually showing the new status quo--how she's searching for her true history, putting aside what has come before and ushering in a new, amazing creative team.

This made me so incredibly excited for Sharp and Rucka's run for the modern-day story.

I've never really read any comics or graphic novels except the Avalon High series by Meg Cabot. After seeing the new Wonder Woman this weekend I really wanted to read her comics. This was suggested to me by a friend and I'm really glad I read it! I'm still getting used to how to process a graphic novel as I'm reading, but I'm really liking the plot of this series.

Interesting start to the new series, but I think I should finish the New 52 Wonder Woman before I continue with this.

"The story keeps changing."

Fuck me up, I'm sold, I want every issue ever of Rebirth. I'm so on board with this reboot to end reboots strategy.

Probably read this in the wrong order, read the first 4 Wonder Woman Rebirth comics first. However, have to say I like the idea this comic sets forth, challenging who Diana is and all her different origins. It feels like DC are poking fun at their own approach to Diana's character.

The one element I would say is that I prefer the artwork of how Diana is drawn in the actual series compared to this initial comic.

Will be checking out the other Rebirth comics, particularly for the Flash, Aquaman, Batwoman, Supergirl and Sucide Squad especially.

First foray back into some comics after a year of heavier literature earlier on. First time also trying out some Wonder Woman - was pleasantly introspective and I enjoyed the artistic style, I look forward to where this could go in future installments.
