My absolute favourite in the series. I listen to it multiple times a year, and I cry like a baby every time, the entire time.

This is the best Amelia Peabody yet. Funny, touching, sad by turns and with the perfect ending that we've all been waiting for. I love watching these characters continue to grow and to evolve like real people do.

I think this is the book where Ramses really takes over the series as main character.
Also a great conclusion to the Sethos arc.

This may be my favourite of the series. So many storylines and loose ends tied up in a very satisfactory manner. And Nefret makes up for her... mistake in the previous book!

My favourite in the whole series I think. I read it twice in the same week and we're also listening to it on audiobook at the moment. This has everything that makes the series great and some pretty significant character developments for the whole main crew. It will work best for you if you've been reading the series because you'll understand exactly how deep the set up for this is and how well thought out all the characters' actions are. Its just so good.
