Lovely photos and armchair travel but for anyone visiting I believe lots of these shops closed long ago.

This is an absolutely beautiful book - so well put-together and thought-out. It is a delight to just flip through and stop on the odd page and read about somewhere or something wonderful. I have been to Japan twice (so far) and always intend on returning, whenever (or if ever) that becomes an option to me again, so this book was somewhat of a confirmation of my love of Japan, whilst also teaching me about so many things that I haven't discovered yet myself. I think I will be using this book to plan my next trip for sure.
