A quick and easy read, a general view of history from Ancient times to the 1990s. Nothing in depth but enough to promote further reading of anything of interest.

Such a fascinating and easy read! I learnt so much about everything because it was easy to understand

I did wish there was more focus on Asia instead of Britain for pages and pages but I guess that's how history is always...

Definitely making me reconsider history as my elective minor at uni

Wish the book had focused less on Britain and its so called ‘great’ Empire and more on other countries, but I suppose it’s to be expected from what’s essentially a recap of a British school history course
