I wasn't crazy about this book at the beginning but it got better. On the cusp between YA and adult.

Good premise, awful execution. One of the worst books I've ever read.

This is probably closer to 3.5 stars at the end of the day. Definitely entertaining, and kept me turning pages, but it's VERY YA. The romantic subplot felt a bit forced, and I think the book would have been stronger without it; there's also something a little creepy about
Spoilera male love interest who looks like a teen but is actually, like, fifty being attracted to an actual teen girl.
It just...doesn't sit well with me.

I stepped into the world of this Hotel and didn't want to leave! The pages of this book was filled with wonderment, adventure and magic!
If you liked the Night Circus, read this gem. Yes it's a YA, however I was still swept away!
I wish the author would make a second book and continue the journey after all the changes made to the hotel!

Wow…just wow! This was the book in my first ever OwlCrate box, which I got solely for this book! It was tagged for Caraval lovers, which I 100% am, and knew it would be magical. It started off a bit unsure for me, but before I knew, the pages were flying by and I couldn’t put it down for more than a few minutes at a time. It’s magical, the hotel, Elsewhere, even the villain and the enchantments, and I am on cloud nine right now. Highly recommend!
